In extend mode the external display is treated as a separate screen so that you can have a different windows open on the second display and main screen.
I recomend you use extend mode for Huion Kamvas Pro 16 pen display to work as a second monitor.
Especially if the screen resolutions don’t match up between the displays, the mirroring might be odd.

Step 2: Set Display Modes in the Operating System

For Windows 11:
Click the Start menu at the bottom-left corner of your desktop and launch the Control Panel by clicking Settings > System > Display.
Find Multiple displays down the page, select Duplicate these displays or Extend these displays, and then apply.
If you just want to Duplicate the Huion kamvas Pro 16 display tablet to your comuter screen, then you have finished the setup.
If you want to Exten the Huion Kamvas Pro 16 display tablet to your computer screen, then you need some more steps.

You may select the checkbox to Make either your computer screen or the huion Kamvas Pro 16 display tablet as the main display.
You can even arrange the 2 monitors by dragging the icons to match their physical positions.
For Apple MacOS:
Mirror display is default in Apple MacOS when your Huion Kamvas Pro 16 display tablet is connected.
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences > click Displays and then select the Arrangement tab to make sure the Mirror Displays checkbox is selected.

I recommend you use the huion Kamvas Pro 16 display tablet as the main display. Because The drawing software like photoshop will start on your Huion Kamvas display, and any pop-up panels will be on it.
If you Set the huion Kamvas Pro 16 display tablet as the second display (extended monitor), then you will need to use the mouse to drag the drawing software to your extended huion display.
